Integration via interfaces

QAD Allocation can be connected to other software systems via interfaces. The realisation of interfaces is part of almost every major software project, which is why we can draw on a wide range of experience from numerous successful realisations.

Via interfaces to internal IT systems (e.g. SAP R/3, SAP SRM, other ERP systems, drawing/standards servers, portal solutions, QA systems), supplier master data, product/article data, material/material groups, supplier key figures and evaluations or financial data (turnover/spend) can be exchanged.

Data can be exchanged directly or via an intermediate EAI system (Enterprise Application Integration system, e.g. SAP BC/XI/PI), i.e. a middleware. Interfaces can work synchronously or asynchronously.

We offer various interface technologies, including WS, RFC, BAPI, and IDOC. Which connection technology should be used to implement the interface always depends on the individual case, i.e. the concrete project, the existing system landscape, the individual business processes and document flows.

Customer example from the automotive sector: Connection to SAP systems and query of complete cost breakdowns in the PM area. Use by NPM for requests for requisitions or quick inquiries. Connections to portal and Active Directory for Single Sign On.
